Had a high of 61 yesterday set a record high for the date. Was 56 this morning with rain. Now it's 30 with a half inch of ice on the ground. Calling for 6- 8 inches of snow tonight. Be save anyone in the path of this crap.

We got a little ice and maybe 3-4 inches of snow but enough to cancel our trip to Toledo for a dog event early this morning.

When it hit down here in the Southeast they cancelled classes at the academy for a day. We made our own trouble and thought it was a huge bummer we were going to have a 2hr delayed start and finish the next day and a makeup day on Saturday vut then were told wed get overtime pay

So that worked out well :D

It's now just a bit after 11:00 pm here (I'm two hours past my new crash time) and just waiting for the snow to start falling any minute so I can go to bed. Typical winter front building up. It was sunny and 60°+ here today (we actually managed to get some field work done) and from now until Thursday afternoon we aren't expecting to get above freezing. Unfortunately, a couple of the coming nights are expected to get below 20°, which ain't good for the plumbing. I hate winter!

probably 4 or 5 here in SE KY.
And still coming down this morning.
Chickens wont come out of the coop, wife made them a big pot of oatmeal with apples and raisins, got the heat lamp going for them, cant really blame them for staying indoors.
put some cracked corn down, outside the coop run for the sparrows and cardinals.
