Just got back. We were told to be at the hospital at 0600 we got there at 0530. They did not take me back until 1200. You guys realize that we have seen the zenith of health care in the U.S.I shudder to think what is to come no matter what insurance you have. In the waiting room with me was an older hippy looking kind of cat wearing a Che Guevara T-shirt. I wanted to go and tell or ask him so many things but my wife reined me in and calmed me down, she is good at that God bless her. Kind of burns my hind quarters, I know 1ST amendment right. Hey, was your Hitler shirt dirty ?, Hey, was your Mao shirt dirty ?, Hey was your Stalin shirt dirty ? You get the idea. I wonder if fifty years from now folks will be wearing Saddam Hussein shirts, nah it likely won't take that long.Oh well now I go to therapy five days a week currently sitting at my computer desk with knee almost at 90 deg.

Update. Went back to work yesterday. I am much improved and getting better daily. Also back at the range cranking my lever guns and getting ready for my next silhouette match. Finding now that shooting Offhand I want to shoot left due to my newly straight right leg ;)By straight I mean not crooked.

Great to see you back and active! We need all the silhouette shooters we can get. It seems like we are a dying breed. Our local group probably averages about 60 years of age.
At my age, there IS nothing better than shooting.

The best part is that I get to take my Grandson deer hunting next week.

We hunt in Hinds county Mississippi. I hope this year is the year He gets His first one. The boy passed on a shot last time because he thought He might not make a good shot on a doe in dwindeling light. He showed a lot of maturity for a nine year old, I was proud. He was using my Wife's AR carbine with a dot optic. This year He has a CVA Hunter in .243 Win and will be using my handloaded Nosler Partitions. We will have fun no matter what.
