Well, I passed up on the Russian made primers and just ordered 5000 Remington #1 1/2, 140.00 plus hazmat & shipping, works out to 0.0337 ea. plus shipping. Hopefully it was a good choice.

I don't think that's bad as long as you can keep it cheap with your other components either way shooting is shooting. Got to do what you got to do.

AK, you made me chuckle, cause, "Ya got to do what ya got to do", I'm sure this will be a purchase that will last me awhile anyway....one way to justify it. I can prep all my brass now short of charging. Was able to get a pond of AA#7 last week. It won't work with all rounds to load, but hay, ya gotta do what ya have to do.

For around here that's not a bad price though. I always look at things like this. If it costs more than I can reason up pros to cons to buy it than the hobby is no longer for me. I hope I can keep manufacturing pros to keep going. LoL

I once tried was bullets with a .25ACP piece of brass as a powder scoop. Basically, the powder vaporizes / becomes a spray of powder dust upon exiting the barrel of the revolver I was using. I shot a mouse with it and was surprised how loud a mouse could scream. The mouse was outside near my car, so I didn't want to use a lead bullet in case it ricocheted and went into the car.
I found the mouse the next day and it had killed him. It basically removed the hair off of one side of his body. Rodent Brazilian wax job, anyone?
