Ordered on 01/10, shipped on 01/11. Price includes 2 day priority shipping.

Pretty decent service I'd say. May be spring before field testing ... brrr.

I got some of those exact bullets the other day and I loaded them up today.

I just put a mild load of LilGun in them to see if they are half azzed accurate or not. I put them in 360 dw cases though since that is what I'll be shooting on the next trip to the range.

I have so many test rounds loaded already, that I might leave those badmans at the house and save them for another day.

Jaybm,

I shot those 50 yesterday. But I don't feel like I gave them a good test as I loaded them all in 360 cases and was pushing them with 17.5 grains of lilgun. They went 1872fps and at 50 yards the accuracy was ok at around 1-3/4". But at 100 yards, the load fell apart and opened up to maybe 8 inches. That load was pretty fast fps wise, but the standard deviation was almost 50. So the load was note likely to be very accurate with such a wide spread.

The good news is that they feed through the gun great, just like you would expect that pointy nose to do. I think that if I were to load them with a milder load of a faster powder they would perform a little better.

I don't think that I really gave them a fair test though by pushing them like that. I'll get some more and do a better test next time.

The bad thing about this is that the little lee 125rf is so accurate that they make it hard to justify trying anything else as a plinking load. They use less lead and powder so the loaded round is a little cheaper. And they hold their accuracy out to 100 yards, and possibly father but I have not tried them over 100. Unless there was a real "NEED" for a heavier bullet, say like to knock over a steel target. I would rather just stick with the Lee/HP38 load. And it's possible that upping the speed some on the Lee might not hurt it's accuracy, and would increase it's knock down power enough to kill the steel.

Mine were delivered today, look good !
Not sure what I will charge them with but most likely Tite Group.
Definitely in .357 brass.

That sounds good.
I'd pick an amount of that powder, that will send them at 1100 or 1200 fps and see what happens.

I just got carried away with all the super mag loading that I've been doing lately, and I believe that I over did the ones that I shot. I bet yours will do better, with a more sane powder loading.

Camera angle made the head stamps weird looking !

I'm thinking 4.5 g TiteGroup for the first five test rounds. Chart says 1157 fps velocity. This
is the load for an 18.5 inch .357 rifle.

Will shoot at 75 yards, about my maximum even with the red dot.

Don't hold your breath for results it's cold ... Jim
