Guy's thanks for all the replies, I never did have trouble with the SP101 Ruger but it just set in the gun safe. I really would have never used it. I have a 6" S&W 686 that I use for fun range work and a Ruger LC9S for pocket carry so the SP101 would not have been used and I can always find and SP101 my LGS has another one right now, I can not find a 1967 94 in great shape for the price of the 101. I is now wearing a Lyman peep sight.
Love the Rifle, it was a great trade. He Loves the SP101, Life is good, heck it's great.
